Survey: Monetization of the open-source ecosystem

👋 Hey there! Are you a maintainer of an open-source project?

In blog posts, Github issues, or Hacker News discussions, you often read that open-source development is not sustainable, because of lack of funding. However, these are just individual voices, and I would like to get a broader first-hand opinion from real experts. I want to start an initiative to improve the situation for maintainers and for this I'd really appreciate it if you could answer a few questions for me.
